WYOMING!!!!!

Wyoming is one of the most beautiful places in the United States. Why?? Because it has some of the most beautiful wild life and most interesting and unique tourist attractions ever. In 1990 through 2000 the population of Wyoming grew from 453,588 to 493,782. As you can tell it isn't the biggest state in the world, but it is worth going to see all of it's natural beauty. Wyoming is known for cowboys and indians from the 1950's.

You may have heard of Wild Bill Hickock he was one of those cowboys who became famous even though he was somewhat of a outlaw he got his name put into all sorts of history books. Wyoming may not be that all western, but how do you think that they got the name Wyoming Cowboys. Wild Bill Hickock was part of the reason how Wyoming got the name Cowboys for the football team and even basketball. Some of the best tourist attractions include Devil's Tower. Cheyenne is the state capital of Wyoming. There is a huge event that happens every year to celebrate the wonderful years and history of Wyoming. It's called Cheyenne Frontier Days! It includes big carnival and performances from some of the best singers in the world. There is also a big rodeo to celebrate the western days.

Summer is Coming!!!!!!!

Everyone knows that summer is obviously the best part of the whole entire year. The wheather is nicer, you get to go outside more often, and go swimming of course!!! Who doesn't like to go swimming? It's my favorite activitie to do in the summer whether it's at the town swimming pool or at the lake tubig and skiing I love it!
Biggest indoor swimming pool.This is a picture of the biggest indoor swimming pool. It is located in the Seagaia Resort in Japan. In 2005 it said that it can hold 250 people. That was only in 2005 who knows they could have made some changes to it since then so it could maybe even hold more. I sure would love to go swimming there.
Tubing ROX!!! I personally love going to lakes instead of pools because you can't go boating, skiing, and tubing in a pool you could possibly at the biggest swimming pool in the world, but you see my point. Anpother one of my favorite activites in the summer is to go camping. In the US when summer begins it gets lighter later at night instead of at 5 pm it would be around 9 pm instead. Which gives me more time to play outside and even go boating on the lake. When i go camping it doesn't neccesarilly have to be warm. I have gone camping in higher elevations where it was even snowing sometimes. Now when i do that you know you can not go boating and tubing so that's just for the natural beauty and all the animals.
biggest fish My family are really interested in fishing. Some of them go up every summer to Canada just to fish for about 2 weeks. I think fish smell really bad, but they are cool at the same time. When they catch them my favorite part is just to throw them back into the water. These are only a few of the things I love to do in the summer my favorite time of the year. Maybe if you are a winter freak and love snow maybe these hobbies gave you a few ideas of what to do in the coolest and funnest time of the year!!!!

Alaska!!!

Just like many of the states in the United States Alaska has 4 seasons. Alaska is never warm, but in the summers the temperatures can reach up to the 90's. Ft. Yukon in Alaska has held the record for the hottest temperatures in Alaska it got to 100 degrees farenheight no other place in Alaska has beat that yet. The current population in Alaska 2007 was 683,478. Alot of people from the US say they want to move to Alaska some say because the moose and grizzlies are bigger, but on another note some are saying they would move there because of all the beauty and all the unique kind of animals. Alaska's landscape is always changing because of all the glaciers falling and breaking into the surface. So they could be moving there for change in their environment.

Sara Palin is the governer of Alaska and she tries her best to keep Alaska's laws in order and never to be broken. She is a very good US citesin and recently in 08 she ran to be the secretary for John Mccain. Unfortuantly Obama got the most votes, but sorces say that in 2012 she might actually run for president.
Visitors of Alaska come to see many things not just the changing environment, but for Mt. Mckinley and for most of all to see all the beautiful wildlife. To name a few of the animals living here in Alaska are the bald eagle, caribou, brown bear, moose, dahl sheep, humpback whales, polar bears and etc. These are only a few of some of the most unique animals in the world. What makes them so unique? Well for one thing they are able to survive in the harsh temperatures of the Arctic in Alaska. In Alaska ther are 47 state and national parks for tourists to come and see all of these animals. They are not caged, but they are usually in sight for all the tourists to see. Another tourist attraction in Alaska is the sled dog races. Alaska's moto is 'North to the Future'.
You might be familiar with the Iditarod and this major event is held in Alaska. It just recently ended and they are now showing episodes of the mushers and there dogs through the race. In the winters of Alaska the temperatures are almost always below 0 or worse. Which means the msuhers and there dogs always have to work hard in order to get a chance at placing or winning the race. A tragic story striked when 3 families were heading off to a ski trip together when their plane crashed in a cemetary in Montana. You may not think that this story isn't that big of a deal, but with no survivors and no flight data the investigation to how the plane crashed could take up to several weeks and even months. The plane was only a single plane engine and investigators are seeing if the plane was maybe overloaded due to how it crashed. They say the most sure reason that the plane crashed was because it was only a 10 seat aircraft and there was 14 people aboard the plane. The most tragic part of this horrible story was that one of the family was the Jacobson family and with them they had 3 kids there ages were only 4,3,and 2 years of age and they had all passed away. One of the other families that was aboard this plane was a mother with her 9 year old daughter and 7 year old son. Members at the St. Helena Hospital have been praying for the Jacobson family and there reletives. Some of their reletives traveled to the Montana cemetery to take a look at the aircraft crash.They were all very hurt about the crash.
My opinion on this article was that I felt really bad for the Jacobson's relatives because early this winter we had a car crash and an eighth grade boy got killed. This hurt me to hear how much the Jacobson's family hurt because every day this boy's family and friends were hurting just like the ones in this situation. What makes it even worse was that the kids in one of the familys were all under the age of 5 and they all got killed.Who knows why, but for some reason they all piled into a plane not big enough to fit their whole family. Some say that the little kids were so young they just sat on the top of their parents lap. Maybe they couldn't afford to get a bigger plane to fit all of them and if they would have got a bigger plane this issue would have had a less chance of happening.

They are only teenagers and coming in May they are going to start their own tv show. They have tons of hits and I like all of their music. Did you know that Kevin the back up singer is the oldest out of the 3 brothers and the other back-round singer Nick he has diabetis. That's not a good thing though. I just think that the lead singer Joe is hot. He's the hottest one out of the 3 brothers also!!!

Harlem Globetrotters

harlem Globetrotters I saw these guys except they were different people, but still the original Harlem Globetrotters. It was awesome and really fun. The tallest guy was 6 ft. 8. There was 5 people who came to entertain us 4 boys and 1 girl. She was only 5ft 4, but she was the most entertaining player on the team (besides the guy who slam dunked like every shot he got open for). The Harlem Globetrotters played one full game against the Wannabees, which were tons of old people plus 4 5ft ladies who got stuffed every time they went for a shot, that could be me out there. This might not sound that fun, but you had to be there. The girl on their team would go up to one of the opposite team's players and tackle them (she was pretending it was football) this of course was part of their act. They were so hilarious. Lot's of music and games I was very entertained I hope I can go again next year!!!!!

Jordin Sparks was also a American Idol winner she won the season in 2007 I think. The opponite she was going against was names Blake I can't remember his last name, but he was also a very good entertainer and singer. My personal opppinion is that Blake should of won. I liked his singing so much because he would take original songs and make them his own.

And was 16 when he was in the top two for American Idol. David Archuletta has became almost more famous than David Cook who actually won the season of 08. That's just my oppinion he might not be more famous than David Cook, but i like this David more than Cook.
